About the Program
The All Star Select Travel Team is SocRoc’s competitive program for players who want more than skills and scrimmages — they want to compete. Our coed select teams practice multiple times per week and play league games against other clubs in the Cosmopolitan Jr. League. Tryouts are ongoing until the season starts.
This is a year-round commitment with fall and spring seasons. Players develop advanced technical skills, positional awareness, tactical thinking, and real game experience — all in a supportive, high-energy environment that still feels like SocRoc.
Head Coach: Juan Laverde
Coach Juan grew up playing in Medellín, Colombia, where he represented Envigado FC at the semi-professional level. He holds a Grassroots Coaching License and has become one of the most sought-after coaches on the SocRoc staff. His background in midfield play gives him a sharp eye for positioning, ball movement, and team shape — and he brings that knowledge to every practice and game.

- Saturdays — 10:45 AM @ St. Vartan’s Playground (35th St & 1st Ave)
Tuition
Full-year program. Two payment options:
- Pay in Full — $1,600 + $44.95 annual enrollment fee
Due by 7/30. Save $100 over the installment plan. - Installment Plan — $1,700 + $44.95 annual enrollment fee
$300 non-refundable deposit due 7/30, then six monthly installments.
Fall-only participation: If a player joins for the fall season only, the $300 deposit, $44.95 enrollment fee, and first three installment payments ($800 total) are non-refundable.
