Coach Brandon Cosme is an excellent person with the kids. He coached my nephew and was very patient with home. Highly recommend him. He will elevate your kid to the next step in soccer and motivate them in life as well.

Coach Brian somehow manages to keep a group of energetic kids focused, learning, and laughing all while running actual drills that don’t look like total chaos. I see growth both from my son on and off the field and it’s thanks to Brians patience and passion to be an amazing coach.

Coach Gordon came to our daycare to teach our kids how to play and explore the many ways of soccer. He was very very patient with our kids especially when he had to redirect them but not too much he was a pleasure to have and we hope to have him all the time

Coach Gordon is an exceptional coach for our U7 soccer team. His expertise and talent shine through in every practice and game, as he not only teaches the kids valuable skills but also fosters a love for the sport. Coach Gordon has a special way of connecting with young players, making them feel encouraged and confident on the field. His patience, enthusiasm, and ability to adapt to each child’s needs make him truly stand out.

My son Myles had an amazing experience with Coach Omar!!! He did an amazing job engaging all the kids (which is no small feat with a bunch of 3-year-olds) and motivating them. Myles always came home from soccer with a big smile on his face! Thank you coach!!!!

Coach Omar was an incredibly kind and patient coach- 12 2.5-3.5 year olds did not phase him. He had them listening and practicing the various drills each week.

We’re in our second year with the SocRoc team and I can’t express enough how enjoyable of an experience it has been. The kids absolutely love it, and starting my oldest son at 18 months, I have to be honest, I had little to no hope that he would take much from it and I couldn’t be more wrong. Two years in and going strong, the coaches have shown extreme passion and patience, and have truly shown an interest in helping the kids hone their skills and meet them where they are at along the way. It’s truly a favorite day in our household and we look forward to many more years with the SocRoc team. A special shout out to Coach Ricardo. He has coached my son every semester, and within moments of meeting him you can see how much he cares for the sport and the important team skills he teaches the kids. Highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a safe and helpful place for their kid to learn the sport, but also learn some soft skills as a teammate.

Our children – Ben and Bia, have been playing football for over a year and during this period there have been several coaches such as Avon, Juan and Ricardo, but most often we had training with Ricardo. The children really like playing football with this coach, he has a good approach to children, he works with humor, the children are easy to contact and enjoy playing football and are looking forward to the next training sessions with their favorite coach Ricardo.

The best soccer program and coaches in NYC, especially for the little ones. They are truly second to none. We were very lucky our first soccer lesson was with Coach James, the founder of SocRoc. We also had the opportunity of having Coach James teach our private pod. He is an incredible coach for the little ones, as it can be quite challenging to get a group of 2yr olds to listen and follow direction. He knows how to capture their attention and makes it so fun. My child always leaves so happy and proud! I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Coach Gordon was amazing with the kids. He was patient, kind and showed them some cool soccer tricks. He was especially good at catering to each child’s skill level. My two kids ages 4 and 7 had a great time with Coach Gordon and I could tell all the other children were having fun too. Best of all, my children finished soccer class happy, tired and ready for a nap!

Coach Geo is exceptional with young children, effortlessly keeping their attention and interest in soccer. His friendly demeanor and patient coaching style make each class enjoyable for my child, and I am grateful for the positive impact he’s had.

Coach Amber has an excellent approach to teaching the kids. The environment she has created is welcoming to kids of all skill sets. She works hard to keep the kids both engaged and motivated. The 3yr old group needs the balance of a firm hand with patience and the ability to be silly and coach Amber has it all!

He has a great rapport with the kids, using a great mix of humor, encouragement, and instruction, and he has really young kids doing legit soccer drills! We had a wonderful experience with Coach Val at SocRoc! When our 18-month-old son started, he was very shy and hesitant. Over the course of the semester, Coach Val’s supportive and engaging approach significantly boosted his confidence. Now, he not only participates enthusiastically in all the class activities but also truly enjoys them. Coach Val’s patience and dedication have made a noticeable difference in our son’s gross motor skills and overall enjoyment of soccer. Highly recommend!

Coach omar and all the coaches are THE BEST. Not only are they building the necessary skills with the kids for soccer but they are also helping develop them on the inside as well. #CoachEvan at Soc Roc was the absolute best!!! My son loved him and always preferred to sit right next to him during their huddles and literally hold onto his leg. 🤣 #CoachEvan was also able to encourage my son to be more aggressive with his kicking, scoring, etc. and he set a great tempo for the class full of unruly toddlers. 😆 We had a great experience that couldn’t have been any better! This is a review for Coach Evan, who has been coaching my son for the past two years and I cannot recommend him enough. Each week I see my son’s soccer skills improving. Not to mention he’s learning not only to control the ball and score goals, but how important it is to work as a team. My son looks forward to soccer each week and Coach Evan is a big reason for that!

Coach Evan is an absolute delight! He’s patient, kind, and has a gift for teaching young soccer players. He breaks down the game in a way that’s easy for kids to understand, and his enthusiasm is infectious. My child’s confidence and skills have grown exponentially under his guidance.

Coach Evan and Omar are THE BEST. Our POD is lucky to have both of them as our coach for 3 semesters and we cant be happier. Coach Evan and Omar make each class fun and educational! They are extremely patient with our over the top energy level kids! They truly cares about each player and all the kids love them back! We will be requesting to continue to have coach Evan and Omar for our POD in upcoming semesters.

I’ve signed up my son been two seasons. He is excited to soccer lesson every week. Coach Ricardo is fun and attentive to the children. My son loves him. Make up policy is very flexible which is another reason I chose SocRoc soccer . We will definitely continue.

#CoachEvan did a great job with my daughter and her pod of 2 year olds. He was engaging, kept it lively and made it really fun for the kids.

We looked at other programs and did drop ins before we chose SocRoc for the season- we chose SocRoc because of Coach Evan – his ability to coach soccer for toddlers is impressive – our son pretends to be him (with a whistle) and has us do cone drills (it’s hilarious, he’s 2) – Coach Evan has made quite the impression on him in short time

Our son has had a wonderful spring soccer class particularly because of Coach Ricardo! He is fun and attentive to the children, and has really taught our son great soccer skills! We never have to convince our son to go to soccer, we simply say “let’s go see Coach Ricardo!” and he runs out the door! We will definitely continue.

I signed up my two year old twins for soccer and I couldn’t believe how much they enjoyed it and how great the coaches were. Especially coach Evan. The coaches totally engaged the kids and got them to follow directions and keep their attention for the entire class. The parents loved the class so much we extended the class for an extra five weeks and I am signing my kids up for a summer session.

We truly loved our experience with SocRoc. Our son Benjamin started at 2 years old and is now almost 4. He absolutely loves soccer and his skill level has drastically improved. They have wonderful coaches like Evan, Ricardo and Juan that make lessons fun and have a great ability to connect with children. The locations are convenient in manhattan nyc: outdoors in spring and summer and indoors in the fall and winter.

Coach James is great! Teaching 3-4 year old to play soccer & follow instructions is not an easy job but coach James is a great teacher who can get their attentions and engaging in the class. The techniques taught in the class are very helpful for children’s development & learning. Highly recommended

We love these classes for our two sons. The coaches bring the energy which is most important and even a little playful humor which keeps them engaged. Coach Liz is superb! They love coming and have gotten significantly better in one season because of her.

This is a great class for the little ones. My son is 3 and it was his first time at soccer class. He was shy in the beginning but the coaches Angel and Brian were very kind and patience with him and the kids and now my son really enjoyes the class and is learning a lot following instructions and hanging out with the other kids. Great class!!

I accompanied my friend to her son’s soccer practice with the team SocRoc and I got to see Coach Evan teaching them some really good intricate drills that will teach them very good ball control and how to kick the ball properly with accuracy they also did some set plays which i was amazed to see such young kids know the positioning of the field and most importantly know how to move with out the ball Coach Evan has been doing a fantastic job getting them prepared for when they get older SocRoc is a very good team for kids any age all the coaches are good but all the kids on the my friend’s son’s team say coach Evan is the best

Socroc classes are a great way to help the little one burn off some energy and get acquainted with soccer. James runs a good program that has enthusiastic, young coaches teaching basics. Mostly they are currently playing themselves and you can see that in their deep understanding of the game. They are friendly and my little one made some good friends along the way. Recommended.

We have been doing Soccer for the past year, love this class and Coach Omar is the best , he is great with the kids , definitely worth taking this class

My 3 year old son has been taking SocRoc classes for over a year and he/ we absolutely love it! Our last private class with Coach Omar was exceptional! Omar is kind, patient and a wonderful & skilled coach! My son has improved greatly since playing with SocRoc and Coach Omar! Highly, highly recommend 👍🏻

We organized a six week group class with SocRoc, and it was great! Our children were 2 and 3 years old, so it was no easy feat to structure a class that made sense and was lots of fun for the group. Coach Kevin was prepared, creative, and incredibly patient.

My kid was the least participatory and compliant of the group, and he still eagerly counted “how many sleeps till Coach Kevin” each week. He plays soccer at home every day now.

We look forward to planning another group class with SocRoc in the fall!

Our 4yr old boys LOVED their Spring soccer class with Coach James! Would highly recommend. The classes are really a great mix of skill building and age appropriate fun! We can’t wait for the Fall season to pick up again:)

My 2-year daughter has LOVED her weekly soccer class with Diego and Angel. Our nanny takes her every week, and she has been telling me that class is absolutely wonderful and in particular, the coaches are excellent. She asked me to recognize specifically how great Diego and Angel are. She tells me they’re extremely engaged and energetic with the kids and do an amazing job of keeping them active and entertained. I’m thrilled to hear my daughter is having so much fun, and I’m looking forward to many more seasons with Soc Roc.

We love Soc Roc classes! They have adapted to safe outdoor small groups or private classes in the last year – and I swear my 3 year old listens better to these coaches than to me!
It’s amazing to see him develop hand eye coordination and love of sports. I highly recommend socroc classes to all the mamas I know.

LOVE IT!! And more importantly so does my 4-year old daughter! They make it fun and engaging for all – even if a family member needs to chime in to help a little one. We are definitely going to be repeat customers!

Soccer camp was a wonderful experience for our 6-person group of 4-5 year olds. James and his team always showed up on time and were energetic, engaged, and encouraging. The kids learned basic soccer techniques through fun activities and drills in a supportive and relaxed environment. James was also very accommodating with rainy day cancellations and rescheduling of classes. I highly recommend James and his team for any parent looking to get their kids involved in a healthy, enjoyable activity!

We love SocRoc Soccer. The coaches are fantastic and the classes are tailored to the age group. My son, now 4, started when he was 2 years old and learnt so much.

Our toddler LOVES here weekly Soc Roc class in McCarren Park, and so do my partner and I! She’s learned actual life skills in this class, and while I suspect she won’t be an olympic athlete, I’ll credit her superb balance to the SR coaches. So fun!

Coaches were great with my 4 and 6 year olds. Activities are kid-friendly (for example, making a “fruit salad” by kicking cones and balls and then doing a soccer throw into a “bowl”) and useful for learning soccer skills. My boys enjoyed coming to soccer class!

Cannot say enough great things about SocRoc!! We run a Dance and Theatre company called I CAN DO THAT NYC and needed a great soccer instructor to work with our kids each day during our summer camp. Keep in mind that we only want to offer something as a departure from all the singing and dancing we do and make sure we have someone as fun and as good with kids as we are. Well, SocRoc set us up with an awesome team of soccer pros that are not only great at what they do, but they are fantastic with kids. They constantly know how to keep the kids interest all while introducing them to the skills of soccer. We were so impressed with their positive spirit, their willingness to help us in any way to keep our kids safe and having a blast. It was exactly what we were looking for. Axel was the main coach and he is an absolute star. His buddies that assisted him were just as amazing and we can’t wait to work with them and SocRoc next summer. Don’t even question working with this company. They are awesome with all age ranges.

James Christie is fantastic. A true expert in the field plus he’s great to work with and he really gets results!

Great way to start playing soccer, lots of drills and encouragement from the coaches. My daughter had a great time.

After a negative experience in a summer soccer camp, my grandson was reluctant to give it another try. He sat in my lap refusing to join the other kids. Coach Colin was masterful in engaging him without appearing to do so. Now my grandson is the most enthusiastic soccer player! Terrific coach, fabulous classes!

Great class great lead teacher! James is also super flexible and fair with prorating classes which is appreciated.

My son has been taking SocRoc classes for almost two years, since he was two. Coach Marcos & Coach Val are the best. They work great will little ones. My son went front sitting on my lap most of class time to being the first to run towards the goal. He loves class and I think the fun approach to soccer the coaches take is to cause. I would definitely recommend SocRoc classes to little ones. Lots of fun!

My 3 year old son has been going to the Soccer classes at SocRoc for many months now and he loves them. When asked “what do you want to do today”, he replies soccer! We will continue to take him. Instructors are fun and are able to engage them in an age appropriate way.

My 2.5 yo son loves this class. I was looking for a sports/soccer class fornpitsode during the summer months and it was difficult finding classes for 2 year olds outside. I found out about SocRoc and was not only happy to see that my son could join an outdoors class in Central Park, but also a reasonably priced one. I couldn’t be happier and we are signed up for the Fall class as well.
